Our Instructors

  • Tashana "TK" Kelly

    For the last 20+ years, Tashana “TK” Kelly has performed, instructed, and inspired on an international level in almost every genre of dance. Using dance as a catalyst for mental health advocacy, TK infuses body positivity into every aspect of her work. From choreographing headlining concerts to theatrical performances all across the United States, TK has become a pivotal visionary along Colorado’s Front Range, continuing to bring to life the visions of regional artists and organizations.

  • Marie-Christine "MC" Emond

    Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, Marie-Christine (MC) trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. In 2008, she auditioned for the first season of SYTYCD Canada and got her golden ticket to attend the finals in Toronto. With over 20 years of experience teaching dance, she enjoyed sharing her passion in various dance studios across Canada. After moving to Colorado, she joined the Kinect Dance Collective (KDC) and trained with the professional dance company for two years. She is the owner and choreographer of Rhythm and Flow offering drop-in dance classes for adults.

  • LaRay Garner

    LaRay Belanger began dancing at the age 16. He has since been dancing professionally for the last 6 years after his scholarship for Show Choir Camps of America. During this time, he had the opportunity to study under Chelsea Hough (SYTYCD Top 10 season 15 ), Sheree Harper, Corey Anderson, Tyne Stecklein, and Casie Tynee Goshow. His dance style is inspired by the likes of Aliya Janell, Michael Dameski, and Sean Bankhead. He has enjoyed assisting and teaching his own classes in Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary here in Colorado at Roots Studio and Colorado Ballet Society.

  • Lilly Parsons

    Lilly grew up training in multiple dance styles with Ormao Dance School as a part of their student repertory company for ten years. Lilly has had the opportunity to train bicoastally in New York City with David Dorfman Dance and in Los Angeles with Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company in their intensives. Currently, she is a junior at Colorado College, where she is a choreographer and dancer for the school's Dance Workshop. She was recently commissioned by the Colorado Springs Pioneer’s Museum to create a dance work for their new permanent exhibit.
